County Longford
County Longford one of Ireland's smallest counties. Most of Longford lies in the basin of the River Shannon, which forms its western boundary, and much of it is in the form of a large lake, Lough Ree. The highest point is Cairn Hill which is the site of a huge television transmitter broadcasting to much of the Irish midlands.
