County Meath
County Meath is known as The Royal County - so called because it contained the seat of the High Kings of Ireland on Tara Hill. Meath has many sites of interest, from it's varied scenic beauty to the historic sites of Newgrange, Knowth and Dowth.
The largest town in Meath is Navan, Meaths's major rivers are the Blackwater and the Boyne.
