County Antrim forms the north-east corner of Ireland, where a channel only 13 miles wide separates Torr Head from the Scottish coast. To the east, a magnificent coast runs north from Larne and curves around the base of steep headlands, through which the beautiful glens of Antrim open to the sea. It's close to the popular seaside resorts of Portrush and Portstewart. The Glens of Antrim offer isolated rugged landscapes, the Giant's Causeway is a unique, striking basalt rock formation, which is truly awe-inspiring landscape and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Bushmills produces legendary whiskey, and Portrush is a popular nightlife zone. The majority of the capital city of Northern Ireland, Belfast, is also in Antrim, with the remainder being in County Down. Our map of golf courses in County Antrim currently lists 36 Golf Clubs. |
